2017 End of Year Celebrations

Lincoln Village Life

End of year celebrations – Joy Mozzi

What a weekend to finish another year as part of our village and community. Three days of intense fun, socialising, eating, dancing, meeting time, laughing, working bees, the list goes on.

Friday night – JT gave a talk to about 40 of us about his experiences building at Findhorn.

Saturday morning – working bees chipping in the gully and Visitor Centre set up –Gisella L and Joy M did the vacuuming, decorations and set up tables on the veranda and inside the VC for a Christmas feast.

2pm party time start with Sophie the busker singing carols in the background to set the scene.

Kids played slip ‘n’ slide with water in the playground.

A visit to our new place up at 23 Research Road, keep those creative ideas coming folks.

The children dressed up and led a parade to round up all the adults to come and see their show.

Matt L had been rehearsing a skit with the children taking the parts of our Member meeting adults – hilarious!

Dinner and there were 3 tables laden with food, the children had made Xmas biscuits for us.

Later mix master DJ Lincoln kept the good tunes coming, wonderful to see the dance moves by all ages.

Matt L opened his tool library as a hand painting space that morphed into a mini bar till late.

Thank you to everyone who made it such a success.

Sunday our member meeting went well and we enjoyed lunch on the cool VC veranda for a change instead of the member lounge.
