Kirtan & Chanting @ Visitors Centre

There was SO much joy last time we gathered to share this, let’s do it again! WARNING: it can seriously improve your mood.

“Kirtan” is a community form of uplifting chanting practice to lighten the heart and perhaps invoke wonder at the divine nature of the cosmos. Everyone is welcome to the VC Friday March 29
This is NOT a concert and you’re invited to join your voice to the chant in “call-and-response”… we might even make a Mantra Choir like last time.

Kirtan (simple Sanskrit mantra chanting with music) is one of the easiest and safest methods of achieving inner peace which other methods of meditation may take years to achieve.
Meditation doesn’t come easy for many people, but Kirtan can carry us effortlessly to a place of quiet, to stillness. Using ancient Sanskrit mantras, the kirtan calls upon sacred energies which serve to quiet the mind, remove obstacles, and bring us back to the center of our being.

There is no requirement to be able to sing at all (…honest)
Simply join in the energy and rhythm and see what happens!
Bring a shaker or tambourine if you like.
Kids most welcome.

Donations welcome on the door for use of the room
