This inspiring ecovillage community is now two thirds of the way through the building process. If you are interested in living here, the last options to purchase land and build your dream sustainable home have been released and are now available to reserve.
There are occasionally also completed homes for sale when life intervenes and members upsize, downsize or have to leave the village (scroll down beneath ‘Land’ to see if there any already-built houses currently for sale). We encourage you to visit the Ecovillage to get a sense of the community if you think you might be interested in joining. We hold a monthly Open Day and are also happy to arrange private tours to suit your timetable. We also suggest you read through our informative FAQs.
Final Lots For Sale
Virtually all of the initial 43 Stage 2 lots have now been settled and the new owners are busy preparing their DAs and a growing number have already started building their new homes here or have already moved in. Our members choose different approaches including Owner-Builder, engaging a professional builder, a number are exploring Modular Homes and others are joining together to reduce cost and footprint – exciting times!
We can now confirm the final release of about a dozen additional lots can be reserved, as we come to the end of our available development land. All lots should be able to accomodate a primary and a secondary dwelling, and some may be suitable for dual occupancy and Strata Title, depending on slope and planning requirements (scroll down for land still available!).
If you are interested, don’t leave it too late – come and visit us and put a Reserved dot to provisionally hold a lot with no deposit for six weeks whilst you explore joining our Co-op. You’ll need to be part of a Membership to settle on the lot and as such you also become a part-owner of all the various fabulous Co-op assets. These include community facilities, recreational and food growing land and greenhouses, ride-on mowers and whipper-snippers, sheds, offices, playgrounds, our amazing dam and forest, and beautiful forest bushland, with trails leading into the adjacent Strickland State Forest right from our back door…
Individuals can also combine and share a Co-op Membership, if they have the intention to build together. This offers the opportunity for smaller footprint and greater affordability.
