We are trying to reduce car emissions both by:
a) sharing vehicles when we don’t use one regularly enough to justify having our own, and
b) moving to electric-powered vehicles which we charge from our solar panels and community battery.
c) We aim to demonstrate both environmental living and intentional community in tangible ways. Providing the opportunity to drive our electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids allows you to try them out in your own time and for your own needs, as well as seeing if ‘car-sharing’ could work for you.
To use our cars you need to be a member of our car-share group. At present there are no vacancies but if you live locally or are a Member of the Ecovillage or a member of NELN, our Narara Network, and might be interested, please contact information@nararaecovillage.com
